“Musical offering to the Three Jewels” to be performed at the III International Buddhist Forum

As you know, the III International Buddhist Forum will be held in Kalmykia from September 25 to 28.

The program of this world-scale religious event is rich and varied: more than 50 events across different fields are planned. The highlight of the forum will be the “Musical offering to the Three Jewels”.

This spiritual and cultural event will bring together over a thousand musicians from various countries, performing together for the first time at the Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni—the largest Buddhist temple in Europe.

“Musical Offering to the Three Jewels” is a creative tribute to the Great Buddha, his Teachings and the Monastic Sangha. It will feature a unified performance of vocal and instrumental fragments from the heroic epic “Dzhangar”, Buddhist mantras and traditional Kalmyk dombra melodies.

All participants of the III International Buddhist Forum will have the opportunity to witness this extraordinary event.
