A design object "Om Mani Padme Hum" unveiled in Kalmykia

As part of the upcoming III International Buddhist Forum in the Maloderbetovsky District, a sacred mantra that protects and guides every Buddhist was unveiled.
"Today marked an important and deeply symbolic event not only for our district but also for all our fellow countrymen. The installation of the sacred Tarni is not only a significant religious act but also a profound expression of spiritual unity and respect for Buddhist traditions, which are an integral part of the cultural and spiritual heritage of our people. May it bring light, harmony and prosperity to every home, every family and our entire community," - said Baatr Dzhekiev, Head of the Maloderbetovsky RM.
Guests of the event took part in a prayer service and the Fire Puja ceremony, which was conducted by the Lama of the Central Khurul "Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni," Gen Zundu, together with the Maloderbetovsky Buddhist community.

Heartfelt thanks were expressed to all those who contributed to the realization of this significant project.

The event also featured a festive concert. Graduates of the district’s schools performed a theatrical composition on Buddhist themes, and the social organization “Tsagan Sedkl” presented the children with memorable amulets for good luck and wish fulfillment.
