– these words spoken by the Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. Min Aung Hlaing, became the general background of the working meeting in Naypyidaw.
In recent years, close, friendly relations have developed between Russia and Myanmar thanks to the efforts of the leaders of our states 🇷🇺🇲🇲 We strive for open relations with those countries that value mutual cooperation and respect the sovereignty of other states.
In the context of fulfilling the instructions of our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, next year we will host the participants of the III International Buddhist Forum. Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing expressed great interest in participating in this event. The main mission of the forum is to study and popularize Buddhism, which attracts and
unites a large audience. Consequently, based on this, it is possible to develop relations in other areas.

We agreed on cooperation in such areas as trade and economic partnership, tourism, education, culture, sports, science, digital technologies, agriculture, industry. We also discussed practical steps to implement cooperation measures with the Cabinet of Ministers of Myanmar during a follow-up meeting.
I express my sincere gratitude to Senior General Min Aung Hlaing for the warm welcome, excellent knowledge of the Republic of Kalmykia and readiness to continue developing relations between Russia and Myanmar 🤝🏼
