In Kalmykia the program of the III International Buddhist Forum is taking shape

The first deputy chairman of the Government of Kalmykia Erdni Tserenov met in Elista with Olesya Sapozhnikova, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation for the Promotion of Buddhist Education and Research, and Badma Salayev, Rector of Kalmyk State University. The meeting focused on coordinating the scientific program of the upcoming forum.

They discussed the possibility of hosting sessions in a new, modern format to reach a wider audience and promote the cultural and philosophical heritage of Buddhism.

A preliminary list of foreign and russian speakers proposed for participation in the forum was also reviewed.
